NaKuHel International Preschool (NIP) is a non-profit, English-language child development center for children aged 3 – 6 years old. It emphasizes nature, culture and health while providing children with appropriate levels of academic, linguistic, social and physical skills. NaKuHel is an acronym for the Norwegian words for nature, culture and health. The preschool is a subdivision of NaKuHel-Barnehagen SA, a Norwegian cooperative.
NaKuHel International Preschool provides early childhood development through play, pedagogic activities and physical challenges in a diverse, English-speaking environment under the supervision of an attentive, dedicated staff.

Our vision for NaKuHel International Preschool is a child development and learning center that embraces and integrates children from all cultural backgrounds. We want to create a happy, stimulating and well-disciplined environment where children are encouraged to reach their full potential in all areas of their learning and development. We also want to provide them opportunities to play and challenge themselves (climbing the tree) as well as to enlighten and instill in them a lifelong desire to learn (the tree of knowledge).
